There seems to be a new bizarre phenomenon in this game in which people randomly whisper you with declarations of, “I love you” and keep going on and on with it. ((Or, at least, that’s what I’m led to believe..)) This has happened to me twice since I came back, from two different characters and to two different characters of my own, and whilst I can’t help but imagine it’s the same guy on his alts, it seems to be some kind of bizarre form of trolling, because hell they do not leave you alone until they realise they are not going to get a rise out of you. Is that all there is to it? They’re definitely persistent enough to be annoying. Where the hell did it come from?
I couldn’t find a screenshot of the first one in which the guy started telling me he’d do anything for me ((bwuh? Oo)), but I did get last night’s.
After that he again asked if I love him, to which I replied something along the lines of, “Not really, I’m just trying to work out what bizarre form of trolling this is but I got nothing :p” and he replied, “K” and left it at that. I guess it’s nice to imagine I’m just that loveable. 
Have you guys ever seen this kind of thing?
Hehe, I’m thinking alongside what Arioch said, but I’m also wondering if it even is actual trolling, maybe it’s just someone feeling silly. I mean, if all trolls were like that, throwing around declarations of love, I might actually start to like them.

You’d be surprised how annoying it gets :p but maybe.
If they say they will do anything for you, ask if they do windows. Ask questions about their genetics, because you want to make sure that your love child is beautiful and healthy. That of course leads to financial stability and how are the primary schools where they are? Inform them that the schools aren’t good in you area, so you’ll be moving in with them. And your cats. All 20 of them.
You could have a lot of fun with this.

I wish! But no, I’m fairly certain it’s just a troll
I’ve not had anyone say they love me, but I did have this one guy whisper me and tell me how beautiful my character was. I replied thanks (not suspecting anything at that point, cause hey – some characters do look pretty kick-ass).
Of course after that he continues on and asks if I look like my character in RL. At this point I thought he was a bit odd and replied “What, dead? No, not really.” (Was on my DK at the time)
He sort of laughed and said no, all fit and strong and tall. He bets I go to the gym a lot.
At this point I wanted to say something like, “nah I’m actually a man”, but I didn’t. I probably should have though because he kept whispering me over the next few days, trying to be friendly – but only being creepy since he kept talking about my hot character and how he was sure I looked just like her.
And I totally do, you know.. I also have bluish-black hair and shining, blue eyes.. /facepalm
Anyway, the short answer – no, no one said they loved me, but apparently some guys get really into your avatars
